My driver's side power lock switch rarely ever works anymore. Also, when I try to unlock the doors with the remote (stock), most of the time it only "disarms" the alarm and unlocks the passenger's side door, but the driver's side is still locked.

Another thing, sometimes my power windows don't want to work. I'll be holding the switches down and either..

1) nothing happens.
2) they roll down a little bit, I feel and hear a slight buzzing vibration/noise from the switch, and then the windows stop rolling.
3) they'll work fine.

When the window switches don't work, I've found out the only way to get them working again is to open and close my door, and sometimes I have to do this while driving.

Has anybody had these problems before? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

 

Sounds like a power issue in the door Like the wires aren't contacting or you're not getting power to your door lock actuator and window reg, or the window reg is just going bad

 

Sounds like it might be shorting out somewhere before the switches for the windows, and locks get their power.

 

just read the end of your post, if you have to open and close the door to shake something loose, it def sounds like loose wiring or the wires to the switches, or a pinched wire take your panel off and investigate
