I have a question for a friend

Her power antenna is broken on her Integra to fix it she needs a new one. Should she get a generic one from an Auto parts store or should she get an actual acura replacement one.

Sorry about the stupid post I am just trying to help a friend out and thought some one might know

 

Is the one from an auto parts store a power antenna? If so than by all means an antenna is an antenna. Did you try a salvage yard?

 

I haven't tried a salvage yard i just didn't know about the wiring.
I want to be sure it works good so I am sure she will go with new
