DO NOT BUY THE DPOWER RIMS. I had a set of D-Power TS-06, which are the cast version of the D-06. Hit a pothole and both of the right side rims shattered in half. They suck. I had to send them back to the distributor and they exchanged them for different rims. Also, they look like crap on a CL, They look like 16s, rather than 17s. They were made out of crap and everybody that saw how they broke was amazed at how much of a piece of crap they were. Take a look at these pics

Also, with the D-06, because the spokes kind of end before the lip, but are not indented, it makes the illusion that they are smaller than they are. Just did not look good, I was kinda happy they broke cause I exchanged them for some Starform Basel 7s that look super tight.

Dude, I changed my vote - I voted for the 06 - but after seeing the pics of the shattered rims I say go for a different brand.... but then again let's hear the whole story. Did the manufacturer replace the rims without a problem? How about reimburesing for tires, labor, etc.? Did you get exact replacements? How are they holding up?
Cool rims otherwise.....

What happened is, I sent the rims back to the distributor (aktusa) that the store (wheeloptions.com) got it from. Since this happened 5 days after I got the rims, I'm sure that helped. What they did is they gave me most of the money back for the rims and reinbursed me for shipping it to them. This money was credited to the new rims I got from the store. The tires were fine and I didn't try to get them to pay for mounting, alignment, etc. Trying to get that money from the city (good luck there) I was just happy that I wasn't going to be stuck with two broken rims and 4 new kumhos.

Problem is the manufacturer is in Japan, so that gets a bit tricky. Plus, going through lawyers requires $$$ and time, neither of which is readily available. I'm just glad I got most of my money back. I probably lost about 200-300 dollars in all of this, which sucks, but it's better than buying new rims.

Thanks for the input guys....for 18s they cost from 350-400 because they're 2 pieces. But after seein those pictures, i just don't know if i should get those. But that could happen to any set of wheels and potholes. And for 18s, you have to be extra careful...
