ok some of you may know me and some have read my few threads...well i think im going to be leaving the cl gang....not willingly though trust me. ive had some run ins with the rents and my car and insurance through them are going to go. i would love to keep it but i have found my first love and have decided to buy it....1997 audi a4 quattro 1.8t with 300 to the wheels. anyways i have a h22 and shit that i might be selling to a kid here but if he bails itll be up here shortly after. so keep an eye out. but for know im going ill let everyone know what is going on with the car...but its been fun....oh and if anyone wants 2 kappa perfect 12s with a 1200 watt reference amp its for sale for 600 firm.
so how's a 19 yr old kid goes from a CL with problems with a car and insurance not going to have more problems with a car that has 300 hp and a insurance threw the roof?

the insurance thing is gonna be a bitch but i also have the good grades thing and a bunch of other discounts for insurance. yes i will keep everyone posted about the h22. and to answer your question about a 19 year old going from honda to audi....best buy pays me alot to do nothing 10.75 an hour and i work two other jobs. i earn everything i have thats the way it should be.
just curious, what has been done to the audi that gives it 300 to the wheels? stock that car has 150 crank hp, shit the 2.8 only has 170 crank hp. does it have a massively upgraded turbo/headers/exhaust/tune?

not worth it man! if ur going to work that hard you might as well get a new car.
no new car out there has tickled my fancy...i would but i just dont like any out there other than the TL but cant afford that....the car does infact have a upgraded turbo exhaust and all the works and no nazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....i had a VW GTI before so its kinda going back to my roots so to speak. and hopefully the 4th job wont come around

. I would have gotten one but what I was looking for was not in my price range. That and the cost of maintenance and insurance as stated above. I'm happy with my CL though, glad I bought it.Hey, your young. Get the car, if it doesn’t work out, its a lesson learned.
yea very interesting vehicle that im getting now....my brother is keeping my cl too...ill be driving back to jersey this weekend to snag her....more update shortly with dyno slip and numbers.
i guess i just don't see how a more expensive car with serious mods(because it would take some serious work to get 300 to the wheels of a 1.8t) make more financial sense than your CL. Unless it had a salvaged title or something, isn't the audi more expensive than a CL?
whatever makes you happy man, I would have to say my first love would have been the Rx-7(FD), but maintenance prevents me from getting that bitch.
hurry up with the dyno lol
gl with the car

its a little bit more expensive but i can afford it. but yea its hard to believe 300 but it is. my pictures wont post for some reason. ill get them up asap. im getting the audi for 10500 no salvage title ill be in jersey this weekend so wish me luck i hope its a winner.
105,000 with a turbo. if they are going cheap on you, then i would rethink about the turbo with that many mileage. don't let them fool you and let them say that they only used it for about 10000 miles

well guys i just got back from jersey test driving the audi.....the car was amazing and was in immaculate shape for high milage. but i decided to come back without it because of maintenace and other things like that....so im going to be the market still and hopeing to pick up a 2.3 or 2.2 cl manual tranny so i can put my h22 to use. let me know whats for sale..i dont care if it has high milage it just needs to be rust free and the frame in good shape and mods idc whats done to it unless its gay....and lets set the price under 7000 LET ME KNOW!!!

Good choice on the Audi. No way I would buy an Audi with that many miles.
