The engine in my 97 CL 2.2 has got some prob where i cannot waste time fixing. Im doing a H22a swap. Im buying the engine and auto tranny. Can someone please tell me what i need to do aboutt he ECU and wiring harnes? Walk me thru the process please. Please help me, I got no CL and its driven me crazy.

 

well if you get an obd 1 motor then I think you can just get a an obd 2 to obd 1 converter. skunk2 makes one that goes $285.

If you are still shopping around for a motor:
osaka motors told me that they could do a complete swap (uncut harness even) for 1850 plus shipping, but I have heard mixed reviews about them.
I have heard some decent things about www.hmotorsonline.com, but their prices are a little bit higher.


Also, check out the "Hybrid" section of www.honda-acura.net, if all of your questions arent answered here. I went to those guys with a bunch of questions and they were really helpful.

haha h22 auto will be faster then a regular 2.2 cl but you`ll still have problems with the 3.0.....i can get u a ob2 ecu i goto find out the price i got a jdm b16 ecu i might be able to sell it redlines at 8000rpm vtecs at 5 1/2
