my car just shuts down. it has happend to me a couple of times now. i can be driving and it just goes dead. no shuttering or sputtering just stalls. it starts again but it takes like 3-4 tries before it stays running. my lights and radio stay on and the clock dosent reset. i dont have a clue what the hell is going on.

 

Take it to the dealer, there's a recall on the ignition switch that may be your problem. Should fix it for free

 

could be the alternator i think. mine just died at 69k miles, so that may be it. take it to autozone and have them check it for free.

 

It's your ignition. The exact same thing happen to me. So, there is a recall on it. So just take it to a Acura dealership and they will replace it for you for free nor will you have to pay for the diagnostic test either.

If it was your alternator, your speedometer would flicker up and down, radio would go off and on, and then cut off after dying.

 

is that only for automatics?????because i have amanual and it doesnt do that....but i do want to get it checked if its for all cl's.....thanks
