Plastic clips in fenderwall

I'm trying to get my intake resonator out right now and i went to go remove the clips inside the wheel well to pull back the plastic lining but they arent coming off, i tried prying the sides of them with a flathead screwdriver but they arent coming off, i must be doing something wrong here, any help would be great!

There's a "slot" a little in toward the center of each clip. Don't pry at the outer edge, but rather at the "slot" towards the center of the clip. The clips are in 2 pieces. The main body, and a cylinder in the center. You are prying out the cylinder, then pulling out the whole clip.

Good call, Dust. I changed the whole plastic lining in one of the wheel wells and learned this the hard way. Even if you know what you're doing you might still break one or two of them, unfortunately, just because they get exposed to so much road junk. Might not be a bad idea to pick up a couple of spares from your local honda/acura dealer if they're in the neighborhood.

If they're going to charge a ton of money do it yourself - I bought the whole piece from A-H motorsports for something like $40 and it takes 10 minutes to replace.

I think no matter what you are going to break a couple, its inevitable.
