Crometalon

I've been buying those cheap after market superwhites for a while, and they keep going out on me, but I don't have the money to invest in some HID's, well, I'm trying to decide between the PIAA's plasma's or the PIAA X-treme white plus bulbs, can somebody tell me which one is better, why, and what are the differences. I did a search on this, and theres not much on the difference between the two. All i know is that the plasma's have sort of a Purplish color, and look close to HID's. How about the other's?

If you like the purplish look then get the plasmas. If you want a very bright white light, get the xtremes. That's basically the diff.
