Picture of 2.3 springs on a 3.0... LOL Taking them off...

Needless to say that the car is way to heavy for the springs... I am guess it dropped the car 2 1/2 to three inches.. The camber is way off in the front.. I went ahead and order 3.0 springs and I guess I am going to ebay these.

I order some B&G's for a 3.0

Those springs must be compressed to hell. I wonder how long the shocks would last.

It does look good...but what I find interesting. The 3.0 is only 153lbs heavier than a 2.3 so those springs shouldn't sag that low & bad.

I ordered a new set of springs yesteday for the 3.0... I will let these go on the cheap.... or even trade him... LOL

I was suprised that the tires dont rub at all... I guess cause the camber is off so bad...? I am afraid that if I correct the camber its going to rub....???

I could get 30's then correct the camber... But that car would be hella low...

You're nowhere near low enough to rip off your oilpan, thats a bit of an exaggeration. And your camber is off by 2.5 degrees at the most.

Don't all 3.0CL's get 2.x springs/coilovers?

My 3.0 is riding on Tein SS made for 2.x.... Get a camber kit or just correct the toe. You won't rip your lip off either being that low.

coilovers can change the spring load rate, where as spring loads and spring rates can't be changed in this kind of spring only setup

front is perfect, too bad your shock will go fast
just get coilovers so you can slam it like that all day
i didn't really wanna lower mine, but i got a good deal on coils, and i love it now and i was to see if i can get lower this year

Smashing oil pan is well known on vdubbs...usually Vr's since they sit almost on the ground if you dont get a skid plate...to smash the pan on your car youll have to take her in the bush.

The worst I ever did was crack my radiator, and that was being completely slammed and rubbing, and having to go over a hump from driveway to street that was bigger than most speedbumps on which I dragged frame, I don't think the oil pan is in much danger
