I saw it yesterday, they already had the hood, trunk, and body painted. They have the doors, bumpers, mirrors, and all the little misc. parts left to do, plus put it back together. It looks great so far, now the new pick-up time is Mon afternoon. they were having some problems molding in the front lip.

Let me see the final product, if is something with a flashy color or very tasteful I could talk to a friend from NOPI and HCI, if they think the car looks good enough then they'll take it from there. Now, what is the color! I know the editor of HCI and a senior photographer from NOPI (as you can see neither of these shot my car).

i went with eric the other day to see his car. let me tell you, this shit is hot. the moldings are perfect, cant even see where the emblems were on the back. front squirters are gone and cant even see any marks. dennis at exotic concepts does the cleanist work i have seen in a long time. they took everything off so that you wont even be able to notice it was repainted. PERFECT. my car is next, aston martin vanquish green. he is charging me $3500 just to do that(and thats a discount). you are gonna shit. i promise.nasty put some pics of the car in its new color as they have it done. the final page should contain pics painted in pieces then the final pictures.

I've been jumping around my house with excitement all day

 

Well.....heres the deal. Again, longer than expected, car still isnt ready. Today my body guy calls me and tells me that the glass guy that the insurance company recommended busted my windshield when he was putting the new seal on. So now my windshield needs to be replaced and re-tinted. Just another thing to deal with. Its supposed to be there tomorrow by 12, and i can pick the car up around 5pm or so my guy said. So hopefully, i ll have pics up Wed. But, again, the way its been going, i dont know.

 

booo, oh yea that reminds me.. i need a new winshield too! huge crack through it! but I wanna see the carr!!

Dont be suprised if they tell you Friday, with bodyshops its basically a waiting game. My car took like I think 2 months.

Since my headlights were fucked up, i got new ones. Acura delivered them today, and, guess what, some idiot put them somewhere where they got damaged. My body guy told me they were all fucked up, like they had been on the bottom of some really heavy shit. So they cant finish putting my car back together. AGAIN. New headlights are supposed to be overnighted and there tomorrow. I am officially done predicting when my car is ready. I dont give a fuck anymore, some shit always happens. When its ready, its ready.
