My Babies 2 12' Kicker Comp VR's, im thinkin' about putting 2 12' Comp VX's in that box do you think it would sound good? The Comp VX's are supposed to be more powerful than the VR's.


My new tints 35% in the frount (because the cops in St. Louis are dicks) and 15% in the rear 3 windows.

Im thinkin about it but I don't know if I want to drop all that money just yet because I am for sure getting a new car from my dad when I graduate in 2007(probibly his STI but im not sure).

 

I've came a long way from my Stock Head Unit and Lightning Audio 6x9's from Wal-Mart that sounded like crap and this forum convinced me to go all out.

U've definately come a long way Keep it up youngin, tint looks good too, I hear ya with the cops, I was born in STL but live here now, and the cops are dicks about tint as well.

 

No its a 2.2 Auto so I don't know if that makes a difference. In other words its slow as shit.

WOW! Another St. Louis CL'er..?? I think Hobo is about the only other one I've seen on this board. I've only seen like 3 or 4 CLs in the entire St. Louis region that have anything done to them. Good to see another addition! Nice car, its startin to look great.

However...

You serious...?? I think St. Louis cops are some of the most leniant cops ever, as far as tints go! I've got 5% all around, and I swear...theres thousands of more people with 5%. I'm about to get my windshield tinted as well. I dont think I've ever heard of STL cops pullin people over for stuff like tints/headlight color/system is too loud, etc. *knocks on wood immediately* Thats about the ONE reason why I like living here...

Where do you live at? I live in Clayton so they are a little different, they don't like black people (sorry to say) and they think every kid in Clayton is on Crack or some other highly addictive drug, most of them are but not all. Basically if you ever get pulled over you get searched and in most of St. Louis cops do give DWB's.

I live a little farther west, way down at the opposite end of Clayton, in Wildwood. I do have a friend that went to MICDS, and he lives in Clayton, and he tells me bout the same kinda hassles you go through. Except he had a Camry with 5% all around, lol. I'm glad the county cops dont really seem to care...

I have three nice SLR (film) cameras, but my digital pics are from either my Nokia 3600 phone or from my Olympus D390. I don't shoot much with the film cameras anymore. Film and processing are getting more expensive.
