The box is custom built for that slot in the back. These pictures took me two minutes, I'll put up some better ones in a sec. The HE2's are quality subs.

Damn D5c5b, thats a clean install. Outlaw - The air freshener is possibly the best addition I've done to my car, it smells ridiculously good. I see that you're in the Bay Area as well, I might be going to the Dublin meet, so you can smell it for yourself if you want. Also, theres a store over in Richmond that sells them. And of course, ebay has them, search under "air spencer."

Hmm, where is this Richmond store? I'm from Vallejo, so it ain't even that long of a drive. I'll just take your (and everybody else's) word for it and get one. How much is it?

Theres one at the Ranch 99 mall at I think the exit is called Central Avenue. Its right off the highway. Theres a little shop inside the mall across from the main supermarket, and the air freshener is available there. Its about $6 or so.

Besides the dynamat, theres this great stuff used for either roofing or insulating (I didn't ask) thats like $20 for a 33 foot roll. It's almost exactly the same as extreme dynamat, and a lot cheaper. Its called Poly - something, and any hardware store guy will be able to find it for you. Just tell them what it looks like and what you're using it for (sound proofing.)

The Dynamat on the underside of the rear deck isn't a great idea. A good deal of your sound come from there with the subs facing rear like so.

A way to get some of the rattling down is to get rid of that hideaway door and speaker grills on the rear deck.

Thanks for the complements. I've noticed that the dynamat on the deck has not decreased the bass coming into my car. And the dynamat that I placed on the other parts of the trunk has made the bass seem deeper, if anything. The rattling is all gone, as I've put dynamat under the speaker grills as well.
