Performance Parts for CL! Coming SOON
I didn't want to start saying about these parts too soon, but I thought I give you guys time to make suggestions.
My brother and the Legends already have a Custom Strut Bar and have a throttle body in the works.Check outlegendarylegendz.com for pics.(If you go to the Acura-Legend forum you'll see that we have sold more than 100 strut bars and have orders for a helluva lot more.)
These are great quality products, and custom made to look and perform at optimum efficiency. We're going to start production of the strut bar after the NOPI NATS. With your supprot we'd like to produce a wide range of aftermarket CL parts that we all complain about needing.
Suggestions are welcome. . .thanks for your support

As far as anything major, we aren't going to commit to anything without some kind of insurance that these parts are needed. We wouldn't want to make parts that are already in heavy circulation and don't sell. We're here to put out parts that are in heavy demand and aren't readily available.
Tell us what you need and we'll try our best to meet your needs.

The noise from the CAI is usually why people want to buy them, but if you want something quiet I think we could take a CAI and modify it. If more than prolly about 10 or so people want that I'm sure they would do it. But doing it just for you would be seen as a special order and prolly would cost you some dollars.
Thanks for the suggestion

Hey MaCe, those sound like great suggestions, I'll talk it over with the engineers and designers and see what they can do.
I should have an answer by the end of the week-maybe sooner.

Moforose3.0, I've been thinking about the same things for the 3.0s.
Hopefully we'll be able to get those designed and done ASAP.
Like I said, as long as we have max support we can do almost anything. You know how the world works. You can't do a damn thing without money.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I've been looking around popular web sites for Accord and/or CL parts that aren't available(i.e. intake manifolds, turbo, etc.)
I know that making parts that are readily available isn't good business, so I'll keep looking over these websites for unavailable parts.
Tell me what parts you want and we'll do our best to get it done.
Thanks for the criticism, keep posting your opinions!

Why would you need to custom parts for an CL? Any engine part for an 2.2, 2.3, or 3.0 accord would fit an 2.2, 2.3, or 3.0 CL. for example a 1997 2.2 Accord EX V-TEC and a 97 2.2 CL have the same engine, F22B6. therefore anything that can fit on a Accord engine can fit on a CL (like a 3.0 CL would get accord V6 stuff and a 2.2,2.3 CL would get accord v4 stuff)
97 2.2 CL
-RED with Gold Pearl
-Clear bumper lights
-PIAA Extreme Bulbs
-Hyperwhite corner bulbs and blinkers
-Wings west "air-dam" front lip
-Custom VIS sides skirts
-Custom VIS rear bumper
-Custom Ground Designs Spoiler
-Custom VIS secondary bumper (for shows)
-Advanti Racing Rim(Cracked one so it's being repaired)
-Nitto 555 drag radial rubber
-Sony Explod Head unit
-15" Viper Audio Subwoofer
-Viper 1200.1 D class Amp
-DC short shifter Adapter
-Brembo cross drilled and sloted rotors
Future Mods
-Ground Control Coilovers w\Tokico Luminas shocks
-Apexi N1 Dual Exhaust
-Black and Grey Interior w\ Sparco Accessories
-H22a engine w\ Turbonetics turbo
-racinghart S7's
-6.5 TFT screen
-Sony playstation 2
-more to come. . .

Not EVERY Accord part fits the CL exactly. Why the hell would I want to take another car's parts when I could just have my own?
Some of the parts these guys are asking for aren't made PERIOD.
Don't you want parts that actually fit straight out the box? Why pay $200+ dollars for a part you'll have to modify yourself? I'd rather pay 200 for a custom CL part that fits exactly than pay 250 for an Accord part that kinda fits. But then again that's JMO.
You ask why. . .I say why not.

Yes, CL parts are much needed. I hate that when I'm looking for new mods I have to search the accord arena. Making sure engine parts are from 98 V6 accord. Anything else its the 94-97 accord, what bullshit is that all about.

i think another good part might be a vtec controller.. i know there are a bunch of them.. BUT one for the CL.. maybe pre-tuned ??
my logic seems to think that this may be possible.. but it may not :-/ i dont know!

Ok,
We are trying to help you guys out.
If it isn't wanted, then that's fine. some folks should try o be more positive...I mean, you will be crying later when you can't use parts from the Accord. Like Rob said, wouldn't it be nice to have something that is OFFICIALLY for the CL, and not a substitution....that's sort of like going on a date with your girlfriend, and letting your twin brother get to take her home.
We aren't going to trying to rip anyone off. If you need any proof or feedback, go to the LEgend forum and ask anyone about the quality of work...or ask any of the folks that have been to any Legendary Legendz Meets

What Duh! At first I read this post and I was like, damn, that shit is cool, someone is offering to make custom parts for our car, shit that very few and far between do. So why the hell are you guys babbling? If you don't want this shit then don't even reply to the damn post, if you think other people are wasting their time then ride it out and watch from the bleechers. Personally, I give props to you who are able and have the skills to fill our market demand, even if it might be going out of your way to do it. Cause now I can stop complaining about having to rig shit from another car.

I k now the feeling...only, we don't even have another car to get parts from. its good to see folks support each other instead of 'hating'.
Now lets get you guys some parts

maybe cheaper headers
quiet cai or airbox
throttle body would be cool
maybe intake manifold besides the venom one
i bet if you made some stuff for the cl thats already available but for an accord you would still get soem people buying, not everyone knows accord stuff fits.
maybe a performance chip
maybe a dual exhaust kind of setup like the accords have??
nice body kit
anything that will give me horsepower

Performance chip would be nice. I mean a direct upgrade chip...something like what Garret makes.
Body kits always a plus.
What about a custom glovebox VAFC fitment that can just slide in and you can place the VAFC or whatever in there.
Or a nice reliable turbo kit for the 3.0 would be nice.

Apple tech needing a h22a
a sheet metal intake tuned for a larger turbo like t4
a sheet metal intack tunred for na
4 bolt to 5 bolt hub cross over
a good set of reverse indiglos
a set of good front and rear strut bars (not aluminum may be carbon fiber)
a good moded rully carbon fiber hood with squirter holes and all in place (mildly moded like a scoop or something other than oem not crazy though)
maybe a nice projector light kit
a solid body kit that can take abuse and wont fall apart (polyurethane type you know the flexible oem material) that is classy
big brake kit
simple interior gadgets
a good short shifter not a adapter but a shorter shifter that also is geared better too (all in one not the a sawed off one) that would be nice

Thanks KC CL 1785
Sorry I couldn't get on here b4, but things at school have been getting hectic.
Anyway, I saw John(the guy who owns KMS) at NOPI this weekend. We had a nice talk about all the mods that he thinks he could do.
He said he was sure that he could think of some more enhancements when looked over the car.
I'm going over to his shop on Saturday to get fitted and bring the list of the things you guys requested.
Thanks for all your patience and cooperation.

i need a 4 piston caliper upgrade kit
a short shift kit that shortens throw >40% and includes new shift boot in the color of my choice and a discount on momo knobs
how about an obd2 to obd1 harness for my h22 project so i don't have to cut every f**ing wire
and an adapter to plug the vafc directly to our stock ecu without splicing
