Lightbulb painting the hood

My hood is pretty scratched up and has a lot of paint chips so my best friend suggested me painting it black because it is quite simple. what do you think, Black hood on a blue cl with carbon fiber mirrors??? here is my car if you wanna look..http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/419269/2

I wouldnt do it. Get a carbon hood if your gonna do anything like that. Try to photochop it first to get an idea, you dont want the car to look ghetto in two different colors.

Someone on the board had it. DCSquirm I think, white CL with carbon hood.

eww don't do it. just get it repainted with your original color. i always think that's so tacky when people have more than one color on their cars.

anyways don't paint your hood black...you might as well get a body kit and paint that black too...

thanks alot for the link but i can barely see it is there any way you can make it bigger... umm don't paint ur hood dude.. get cf... it is expensive but all you guys saw it is worth it.. what you can try and like its risky cuz u have to have someone that knows how to do it and buy good quality sticker... my boy on his protoge wagon had the same problem you did and he bought a good quality i mean awesome cf sticker and had some profesional dude put it on.. looks amazing and you cant even tell ... ill see if i get you guys some piks soon... later

any shop.. like tuning shop i suppose i know they have in at auto parts n crap like that but that one sucks go to any like import shop they should be able to order it or have it.... if u do it rite it lookz real nice..

I would just putty the deep chips or scratches and prime then paint the whole hood.
