Dings

I just recently bought my 2.2 cl, and it has 2 tiny dings on the driver side, u can hardly notice them, my gf said im seeing things, but i notice them and it bothers the heck out of me, is there anyway of removing these? how about the old vasoline on the plunger trick? lol.....

paintless dent repair. it won't cost much, but if it's not noticeable, just leave it. the side doors will always get dings at a parking lot.

True, my gf said the same thing today at the gym "Go look at all the cars i gaurentee 75% have dings"

most of these parking lots have tight spots and lets not forget all the carts. it's not really worth a hundred bucks to fix a small ding. if it were a deeper dent, then sure. also, forget about those kits you see on tv, i think they cause more dents than they fix.

Clean the spot with a damp terry-cloth
Take a hair dryer and heat the ding untill it is fairly warm.
Then, using tongs, touch the spot with a small piece of dry ice.
If you are living right, it will pop out.
you may need to pollish the spot after you are done.

i heard doing that causes your paint to premauturely crack and chip.

I've used the dry ice trick on an old ford ranger with my friend after we went mudding. It worked. Then we hit a tree..and well..we didnt have a big enough piece of dry ice. =X
