Painted dash.... done

Just finished tonight. Thought I would share some pics. I know how much everybody likes pics.

I did these in DuPont Chroma Premier base, straight black w/ some copper pearl and cleared with G2 4700 Express clear. I thought plain black might be too bland, so the copper pearl was thrown in, in memory of the woodgrain. When the sun (or flash) hits it she GLOWS reddish brown. it's pretty cool.

All you need is Patience young grasshoppa. It was a little tricky with the screws from behind, but if you keep your cool, and can contort your fingers all crazy, you shouldn't have too bad a time. I'd say it was definately worth the effort.

Looks good!!! i thought about painting mine the same color as my car and thats pretty close to black. i like the bronze color in it

Thanks, and yeah, I sanded with 400, and scuffed with a 3M hand pad.

did you use my instructions on the location of the clips for the pieces? if you didnt its ok
