Ordering tonight!!! Weapon-R or AEM intake

Well I have a choice. I will either get the AEM CAI or the Weapon-R Dragon Intake. Both are around the same AEM CAI is a little bit more.

Which one should i go for.

here is a link to Weapon-R
http://store.yahoo.com/importuniverse/intake.html

YOu all know about the AEM already. Which will give me more horsepower, and more kick of the start.

One thing to keep in mind with the weapon R, they use a cheezy foam filter. I had one on my integra before. They are basically a throw away once they are dirty. The k&n's will hold up a lot longer than the weapon-r filter.

Weapon R sucks... just get the AEM. Like Hyundai vs Acura. Plus that act that the AEM has a K&N at the end of it. The Weapon R filters are throwaway... and made out of cheesy foam. And woah, they changed their name model to the name Dragon... wahoo...

I have had the Weapon-R intake in my car for the past two years and am quite pleased with it. Nice acceleration and as for the filter, it is reusable just like K&N, all you need is the foam cleaning kit.

Just my two cents.

OK so then I am a little stuck.

Weapon-R is a lot cheaper, but it has a bad filter (CAN I CHANGE THIS FILTER TO A K&N LATER ON)

Anyone know which has more horsepower and which gives better performance.

I have the Weapon-R F1 Carbon Intake and I love it. I've had it for about a year and a half and I've had no problems. I just bought the K&N cleaning kit and use that to clean the filter... no problems at all. I'm not sure if they make the F1 anymore, but it's doing the job for me!!

What they mean buy that is a minimum of ten people must join the group buy to achieve this price. Not a minimum order of 10 items per person.

After lots of thinking i am goin with Dragon Weapon-R. It is cheaper and it looks a lot nicer. I am sure that the performance is just as good. I read up a bout it some.

If anyone can still prove to me that AEM is better please please do so.

I am looking for the cheapest price. I don't want to wait 15 days until the auction ends.

I think that's a good decision. No matter which way you went, performance would be similar. Good luck and keep us updated on the results!!

i got injen CAI and the little improvement it may give is barely noticable (other than the noise it makes when shifting) your not going to tell the difference with a different intake or anything so do what u want
