Opinions on wood trim...
It seems like everyone is trying to get rid of/cover the triim. Although it is fake, i kind of like it. Does anyone else prefer the fake wood to a carbon/painted look?

I personally don't really care for fake wood in general. I would rather have high quality plastic/vinyl or paint in it's place. I don't think fake wood should be used in a "luxury car" that costed close to $30K back then. What is sad, is that all Acuras use fake wood. Even the $45K RL. The center piece is real, but the sides are fake. That is wrong.
I would do something about it, but I'm too damn lazy and I might sell the car in the future....so that would affect resale value. In fact, I might buy some more fake wood for the center console, since the plastic is too cheap looking there.

I just wished that Acura used real wood on the CL's instead of the fake stuff. It's a shame they used really good leather on the seats and mismatch it with some fake wood.
I might buy some more fake wood or metal trim soon though. Somebody spilled coffee on my center console and some of that cheap plastic melted. Any suggestions on where to buy it?

Depends on interior color. I have tan interior and can't touch it, i dont think any colors work well with it. On black interiors, i love the polished aluminum look. I wish my car had black interior, too bad milano red never came with it....
