When I had my VAFCII tuned with I/H/E/P, I gained ~11whp and 13lbs of torque. But if it's not tuned, you won't see any gains.

I have his VAFC II now Just waiting to install the rest of that list ^ so it'll benefit me. I have a 3.0 also. What you want for install is the OBD2 conversion harness so you don't have to hack wires. Go here www.vtecfrog.com get wiring harness for your OBD II setup and you'll plug and play. If you don't have engine mods, you won't really benefit so the more crap you put on your motor, the more benefit that $300 will pay off. Get some UR pullies and some headers and you'll be well on your way

No, it's a custom made harness, it's just a plug and play conversion harness.

IHEP stands for Intake, Header, Exhaust and Pullies

This is what you want

adpt-VAFCIIobd2b
Extension Harness V-AFCII P&P OBD2b Universal assuming u have a 99, 97 is different

i dont have the means to order the harness which kind of bums me out...today i went to autozone and picked up a Faze Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge and a pot for it...few q's about it...the installation of the gauge depends on if the dimmer is connected to the ground or positive wire of whatever else its connected to....so is the dimmer in my 99 cl 3.0 on ground or positive...i picked up the haynes book for the 98-02 accord too...same engine right? J30A1? holla at me bros

Your ECU is under the carpet in the passenger side floor well, where your passenger would put their feet, just pull the carpet back and it should be right there. Cocoa can't check his VAFC settings because I bought his VAFC II. But I'm waiting to get one of those harnesses so I don't have to splice ECU wires. I said ask cocoa cuz I figured he might know some of the settings he had.

As for the parts, I guess it depends on what kinda parts you're looking for. Kumar and I are both building show cars and have a stock pile of parts, most intended to go on the car, but I def have extra crap as I'm sure he does too. I guess we'd need to know what you're lookin for. And my stack isn't in my room, it's taking up most of my basement

Well any aftermarket parts you guys have left over i would prolly have intrest in and as far as OEM parts hmmmmm....front bumper, passanger side turning signal...i'd really love a list honestly...god knows what kind of stuff you have in your basement XD j/k thx for the ecu location...i didnt check yet but ill take your word...do u really think its that hard to splice those wires? or are u just doin it for the convenience?

I got another big question...what upgrade should i get next? what would compliment what i have so far the most? I have an AEM CAI, Custom Exhaust, the VAFCII now and a Air/Fuel ratio gauge to go with it, and an aftermarket fuel rail...im not sure of the brand...i also have 16" motegi FF7's....i was thinking of getting the Megan Header set i found on andysautosports.com but i dont know...let me know your opinions

I never touched my VAFC2. Once I had it tuned by the shop, they told me specifically not to mess with the settings, otherwise the tune would have been pointless. It WAS in perfect condition since it was in my glove box, but freaking Aidan pulled it out and got it scratched! Anyways, ask Chris for the settings. But remember, EVERY car is different. So it's best if you get it tuned for YOUR car, even though they're the same engine/mods.

I'm chris and I want the harness out of convenience, I'd be interested to see your diy, even though the ecu's and wires will be different. Let us know how hard it is to install, maybe you'll save me $200

97 ecu's are different from the 98-99? I know the trannies differ from one another, but never knew the ecu's did too.

It'll be an easy install. As long as you have the wiring diagram for the ECU, and the vafc2, then you're good to go.

I spliced my TPS wire from the ECU when I did my nitrous install. I hate dealing with the wiring of cars as well though. Makes me nervous.
