opinions??

Does anyone have an opinion on this 25 dollar intake for sale on ebay? I would like to have an AEM or Injen, but am under a budget at the moment so i figure i would go with a generic if it gets the job done.

Actually I have that intake on my CL. I even got it from the same guy on eBay. He ships very quickly. As far as the intake goes: it's exactly the same as the APC Air Intake that cost around $75-80. It's a great improvement over the stock intake and definitely worth the price($38 with shipping).

Hope this helps

the performance of an aftermarket intake really comes down to the filter. the pipe itself is really pretty generic. so if i were u i'd get it and just get a good filter. my .02

Usually the generic ones aren't a perfect fit if you're looking for a CAI. With the generic pipes, the filter is still placed in the engine bay which still sucks in hot air. If you want a CAI that actually places the filter down in the wheel well you'll prolly have to go with a name brand CAI. The AEM is a perfect fit. If you don't care about the peformance, then I guess a generic one will do.

My CAI is a generic. Granted it's for the 3.0, it fits perfectly, and the filter is down in the wheel well area. Only cost $60.00 from procarparts.com.

GET ITTTTTTT ALL the shits are the same. If the air filter is K&N good, if not it don't matter, they all serve the same purpose. 38 bucks, I would get it. I bought mine like that, then just extended it to make a CAI. Worked like a charm.
