I think you need to install the program (Mitchell on Demand??) first, then when you run it the first time, you need to update/import the database by inserting a different CD.... i removed it from my comp a long time ago so i forgot...

Oh and for the guys in Socal who want to have a copy but doesn't have cable/high bandwidth internet, just give me some cds and i'll make copies 4ya...

OK guys, bringing this one back from the dead because I am lost. I burned the image of the iso file onto a disk, it changed the file name to Mitchell. Now how do I open it?

Did I mess something up?

Install it, the iso should write files to a cd, then install it off the cd i think, or you can search the other manual pages and there's step by step instructions, I don't use it, i just host it, i have all 3 helms manuals in print

Agree with acuratl_2nr

Daemon tools will open this iso file and run it...I am not sure...but i think it runs it as if it were a new drive..can splain it...but it works great as long as you have enough disk space to keep the iso file.....for long term...burn it to cd............. try magic iso

That's what I'd do to, I have all 3 books in print so I've never used the files, but I'd open them without burning them, however for most people that aren't overly technical, I recommend that they burn them cuz any burner software will automatically recognize an iso as an image file and burn it.

I really need a guide for replacing the right rear caliper assembly, and swapping the pads.
I've spent a couple of hours trying to figure out how to handle this ISO crap.
I tried burning to a disc, it doesn't help. It's just like having the ISO file on my cd instead of my computer. Not sure what I did wrong.
Daemon Tools says I don't have the correct OS, even though I do.
Help, someone!
Is it possible to send the whole thing as a zipped pdf or something?
I need to fix my car

U need to use the ISO image to burn the file, on nero the option is burn image to disk, don't burn as a data disk cuz it will burn the iso data, not the image.

so i downloaded nero, burned two discs, tried to install it on my computer, and it just gives me errors.
when i go to setup, it has me put in information, then says something about registering, and then gives me a black screen.
every time.
i tried other exe files in the package, and they just give me pop up errors.
this is ridonkulous

OK so just after I posted this, I figured I'd try the HELP file. No help there, so I was like "screw it I'll just try the exe one last time before giving up"
sure enough, it magically started.

Excellent
