omg.. my ex-gf is crazy..
holy shit..... It's hella long story, but I'll make it short..
I found out that my gf threw away ALL OF MY CLOTHES, alpine deck(cda-7998), stock deck, two brand new headrest screens, 2-10s eclipse subs, 5.1 computer speakers, 100+ cds, 200+ blank dvds with 200 dvd cases, etc. And, she sold my bed, ikea tables, ikea desk, ikea chair, microwave, fans, lamps, etc to her friends.
jesus.... it worths more than $15g... (my clothes worth around $8~9g)
okay, I'll tell you in detail..
I came back to Korea on Sep. 2005 for a vacation and couldn't go back to the U.S because my visa was expired. I lived with her when i was there, and til the end of Jan, I paid for the apartment fee. (yes, I wired the money to my account in U.S, and she used my checks to pay the house fee) I got rejected few times, so I can't go back for a year. So, I told my other friends to ship all of my stuff by ship(I paid $2g for shipping :X). And, I got my stuff back last monday. It took around 2 months. And, when I got my stuff, I found out that the stuff above is gone.
I contacted my friend about it, and they said those weren't there when they shipped my stuff. And, when Legendary98CL came to my house to pick up my car, he also didn't see those things.
Yeah, my ex-gf took or threw them. OR sold them.
When my friends shipped my stuff, I knew that she threw away all of my clothes cuz she said so, but I didn't know she touched my OTHER stuff.
when I asked her why she threw away my clothes, she said she thought my clothes weren't important, and I could buy new in Korea. And, she tried to reduce my stuff cuz the s/h would be expensive.. :wtf:!!
During the stuff is coming, I talked to the lawyer in seattle and sued her.
But, she just moved out on the end of Jan, and didn't answer the phone, email, etc. So, I have no idea where the fuxk she is.
bad thing, she had told me once that she might go back to Japan completely on the end of March or april (yes, she's Japanese)
So, I talked to lawyer about it, and he said if she goes back to Japan, there's nothing he can do.
man.. wtf should I do... she fucking ruined all of my memories and history in the U.S!!!

Some how, I doubt she through away the hardware. Come on, she's Japaneese, she probably knew the value of that stuff and pocketed the sales funds. Anyway, doubt there is much you can do. But, if you file a complaint against her, it will make it more difficult for her to return to the U.S. I hope you can get something back, but I doubt it. If she pawned it and you have serials... You might get some of it back.

I did nothin.. we lived together.. and we just broke up like 2~3 weeks before I came back to Korea...(cuz she got a new bf :X)
well, i think she did it because she knew that i can't go back..
and she sold my stuff to her friends...who are also my friends.. :X

but i know that she doesn't know 'bout electric stuff.. so i think her new bf helped her to sell the stuff or something...i'm pretty sure he's into this thing too...
since i can't contact her at all, there's nothin i can do..
also, this fucking lawyer doesn't email me back often.. and when i said i'm in kinda hurry and have to find her, then he said, sorry, i'm also busy working... wtf i was like..am i NOT ur customer?

first thing i will say. what a bad decision. you should have always taken worst under consideration. what if you wouldnt be able to return, in which you cant. you need a noterised document that you are allowing this person to act on your behalf.
they will sue her in your name and at the same time hire a lawyer here in america. verify all the legalities.
you need to do this immediately
if she has family here in the us then you are set
you can threaten her that if she goes back to japan and doesnt pay the piper cerain things will happen, you need to keep her here
you need to play this smart, be careful

I thought he could get her current address from the school. I thought lawyer can get any information from the police or any place like Korea has..but he said it's impossible and said Korea does not have the same laws or privacy protections does it?
Unfortunately, her family is in Japan. I've met them once when they visited the U.S.
This friday, I go to Japan to finish my degree for a year(I decided to go to Japan since I can't go back to the U.S) So, I'll probably try to find her family and talk to them in Japan.
But, this is ONLY IF I find them.
