omg... last rim question..

hmm... sorry 'bout that.. but.. i HAVE TO ASK!!

well.. i got a fender accident 10 days ago and am still waiting for the insurance call..

btw, i talked to the bodyshop guy and he said that if i pay, $1500 he would do the custom flares for mine.. (fiberglass molding..) but he said that i need rims first..

well.. what i want to know is "235/40/18" would fit on cl?? no prob at all?? or "235/35/18"??? what do u think??? and.. what about getting more wide? 240? will the rims touch the fenders??

i was gonna get 225/40/18, but the custom flares.. so..the rims have to be little wide.. u know..

what do you guy think?? there will be no problem driving??

ah! i'll get Racing Hart CR 18" one-piece in silver... cuz.. they don't have one-piece in gunmetal.. only for the multi pieces...

Re: omg... last rim question..

changed my mind..lol

i'll get just two of RH CR 18" multi pieces in gunmetal first.. and..

get another two of them this summer..

i think i might regret if i buy 18 one piece in silver..hehe

and.. the reason why i need to buy rims asap is because they'll do the custom flares work when they fix my car tomorrow..

anyway... 235/40/18 or 240/40/18 would work??

I'd go with the 235's 240's will be sticking out on a 7.5" rim. You could always have your bodyshop paint the inside of the wheels gunmetal later.

oh yeah.. i meant... 18x8.5 235/40/18...

if i get 18x7.5, i would get 225..

but.. what 'bout 18x8.5..? then.. 235 or 240 will work??

and.. what if i get 235/35, 240/35?? better to get 40?

is there no problem driving?? is this still gonna stick out??

man...it's really annoying..-_-;; i just wanna get the rims that i want.. lol

8.5" i would go 240 you mite want to get 35 series for turning clearance. I'd say 240/35/18. You mite want to keep in mind tho, it mite rub the wishbone with that wide of rims.

i just wanted to know the price of tires and how they look like.. so i checked ebay..

but there's no 240/35/18.. i mean.. i think there's NO 240... it's.. 235 or 245... oh well.. if i get 235, do i still have to get 18x8.5?? or it's okay to get 18x8 or 18x7.5?? and.. i don't think 245 would work.. do you?

fuck that if you are getting fender flares

get 19"

then with 7.5 in the front and 8.5 in the rear

that would look tight

good luck

well..for the rear, i don't like the rims to be half inside... u know what i mean?? like.. most of 19".. they don't fit perfectly.. upper part is little bit hidden... well.. it might be tight for some ppls.. but i don't like it.. well.. i will get 18x8.5 235/40(35)/18 for rears and will get 18x7.5 225/40(35)/18 or same as rear this summer..

if i dont' get the custom job, i can get the 4 sets.. but i wanna get the fender flares.. so.. it might look funny if there's only two nice rims back side and two stock rims front.. lol
