BTW who's ride is this?

and look at this pic? whats that coming off the rear window?

and i thought no one towed with the CL why would you want to tow anything with the CL

i think eeryone remembers this one, but look at the last pics, they have to be new, cause the older pics i saw she didnt have a wing or those "racing stripes"

and the molding the rear fender to the rear bumper looks alright i wonder about stress cracks

i remember that white one being posted a few months back. its definently a first gen, just some front end work to make it look kinda 2nd gen. as for towing, i've seen like two cl's towing sea-doo's, and one was towing a bike, i mean, its not that much weight.

This one looks ok. Sides don't really fit in well and rear needs to have one exhaust side closed up. But then it went to shit.

I see stuff being towed w/ the CL all the time. I actually have a friend that tows his bike up to the track w/ it. It'd also be great to hook up one of those little uhaul trailors to if you are moving

edit: not all the time, but i've seen a CL towing something probably a dozen times or so

I don't think the white cars are the same car.

The one with the goofy spoiler is def a photoshop. Look at the headlights, no way that can be done. Same with the grille - it's a 98 grille.

If I had a jetski or something similar, I would get the hitch and tow it with the CL.

Def has got to be a photoshop. Our headlights can't be bent like that on the inside corners, that grille would be almost impossible to make, shaved door handles are usually a tell tale story of pchoppin, and lastly, the wheels have about a 2-3 FIST wheel gap. Too bad we really dont have a lip kit like that tho, i think it looks nice

That's what I was planning on doing with my CL when I first got it. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to putting the tow hitch on, but it's pretty easy to do. I was also planning on using it for bikes since I can't put a bike carrier on because of the rear spoiler.

If anyone is interested in the hitch, let me know. It comes with everything you need, hitch, mount screws (no drilling), 2" ball and wiring to hook up directly to the CL.

CL 3.0 SUV, well sort of :)

Well let me answer the towing question. I have a CL 3.0 and its lowered. I bought the car because I knew it would be reliable and it had the tourqe to tow a Waverunner. When I lived in SoCal I was usually the only guy at the boat ramp with a lowered Acura launching a Waverunner. When I moved to Maryland I bought another Waverunner and would tow a double trailer with a lowered CL. People would look at me crazy but I'd just speed past then at 80 or 90 pulling both Waverunners. I was towing a 1998 Yamaha GP1200 and a 2001 GP1200R. Crazy maybe but my CL has 145K on the tranny and it still runs strong.
