Ok noob question..

Well I'm upgrading my stereo wiring to 0 gauge and so I have to change my ground wire to 0 gauge also.. The only problem is that there are two wires from my negative terminal right now. One goes to the engine block, this is what I am assuming I'll have to upgrade to 0 gauge. Is this correct?

There is also, what seems like 8 gauge wire going to a bolt above my headlight. This i'll just connect up again because it seems like it serves somewhat of a purpose. Do I need to upgrade this wire also? Or does the 0 gauge to the engine block good enough?

Thanks!

U should be able to just ground the amp with a zero in the trunk. My 4 gauge is all grounded in the trunk, shouldn't have to ground the battery, but if u have extra 0 gauge, u can ground your battery too, don't think u have to though, unless you're upgrading your alternator and power wires from that

you have to upgrade your battery ground to 0 gauge because if you have 0 gauge ground in the trunk the "current" or whatever won't be able to go to the battery through the 4 gauge ground.. i read an article somewhere about it.. but i'm just assuming since the thicker gauge is going to the engine then thats the one I need to upgrade

Right on, u don't need to upgrade the ground to your engine, just the ground from the battery to the frame

So leave the ground going to the engine alone and upgrade the wire going to the frame? Sounds logical
