not usre, i still gotta wait till i get the check for my eclipse, then im going in for a test drive and whatnot.
Im kinda lucky because its the same guy who sold me my alero new in 2000 so it should be easy to work on a price. Plus no matter what im buying an extended warranty

and you'd leave that kind of money in the car because..... if i got 10g's in my pocket to get anything i ain't makin no pitstops, that kind of cheese makes me nervous...but nonetheless cash on hand does makes haggling go alot easier

I recently bought my CL for $8,500
1998 3.0 CL 4speed Automatic
24,000 original miles
Black with gray cloth interior
It's has the wood grain and Acura floor mat set
I don't know if it's a premium, I don't know what distinguishes a premium from regular CL
It's completely stock and serviced every 3,000 miles at the dealer
Reason I know this is because my brother owned the car, he bought it new
He bought an SUV a few years back and rarely used the CL resulting in the low miles
He put it in the classifieds and received offers over $12k for it but he knew I wanted it and gave it to me for what the dealer was going to give him for the trade-in value
The only issue I have had so far is a clogged AC drain pan line and replacing the brake pads

Why don't you buy my CL for just about half that price? It allready has tons of mods and is alot faster than a 3.0 CL.

I'll end the auction and sell the car for $7,500.
OK enough of the shameless plug.

I got ganked. even though I talked the guy down 3G, I paid 10,300 for my 97 2.2, in '02 with 65Gs on the dial. now I'm seeing all these deals and feel stupid. I love the car though, so whatever.

how handsome I am
I just picked up that 97 CL 2.2 5SPD for about 5k... 51k miles, leather, moonroof, etc. Had a few nicks here'n'there, but it was in good condition. I took it to the mech's and they all said it was a pretty good buy, too.
of course, I showed up with everything in cash so... that always helps. =]
