The Official CF Hood GB

Talked with Street concepts. Here's the details:

They said that they are willing to make us a sample hood to see if we like the fitment and quality. for this, each buyer will have to put down a 15 dollar not refundable deposit. if you guys like the quality, i'll give them the money and they will make the rest of the hoods. if you don't, i'll refund your money minus the 15 dollars. This may be your last chance to get in on a CF hood.

Prices
for people with 150 post or more = $285
for noobs= $300
shipping to 48 states= $150
So. Cali local pick- free

It costs $100 to ship an full front kit in the lower 48 so another $50 makes sence for a hood.

If the material/hood/quality looks good, then I might be interested. I live in corona, and work out in chino hills, so I'd be available for pick up. Is this a group buy where you need to have 10 buyers in order to get the deal?

It's the same gb as the one before. The last one fell through because not enough people stayed in, this time we have enough interest. It also never hurts to have more though!

So anyone interested you can still get in on this before it's over!

I don't like it being by post count, there are a lot of valuable members that don't have a high post count.

yeah it's a fiberglass skeleton grade A. but we'll see how it turns out.

Duece- i emailed VIS just to see what they would say about the GB. if they give me a good enough price, i'll hook it up.

How long is this group buy going on for? I need a new hood badly. If it will run until the next month I'll have enough funds to jump in on this. If so you guys can count me in.

I assume we don't have to have the orders in immediatly, as its going to take a bit of time to throw that cash together. Hopefully 2-3 weeks i'll have it all. I don't see why i shouldn't, baring some unforeseen circumstances.

Let's see what TeamBlurryCL can get us with VIS, might be a better quality/design...

i got to see a carbon fiber hood on a car they other day. looks real good!

But, I've been swayed not to get fiberglass skeleton.
So I'm not buying a hood unless TeamBlurry has got something going on with VIS

By the way, did any of you all get a message from someone wanting to sell some VIS hoods?

i'm down with geting a hood from VIS. unless the hood from the GB is the grade AA shit and it fits well, i'm all down for the GB.

i agree with CLpower, many of us don't have high post. so if thats the case then i should start being a post whore to get my post up.

BTW: just my opinion! (pricing the hood by post is kinda prejudice)

if we go with streetconcepts instead of vis you think that it would be possible to get the hood in that titanium carbon fiber?
