Offer on the CL
Ok so I was at the grocery store toda when this guy approaches me and was like, I saw you get out of that black CL in the parking lot, so i was like, uh yeah.... and he said, I love those cars, and yours looks hot in black wiht the chromes, I will write you a check for 17,500 if you will sell it to me by friday.
I wont part with the CL but the two things I found funny about this were:
1) There is a CL just like mine down at Acura right now for like 12
2) My parents only paid 15 for the CL when they bought it.
I would like to take him up on the offer and get a BMW convertible or an Audi A4 but I just cannot bring myself to sell the CL, especially since it just got painted.
Has this happened to anyone else?

damn, thats a good price, but i wouldnt sell my shit for 20k if someone offered. Only because of sentimental value though, i've had it so long, and put so much into it, its not worth it. My car has been with me overseas, i've driven it to Spain, Italy, Paris, all over Germany, all over here in the states, i've boned countless chicks in the backseat, and probably washed it over a 1000 times.....its just not worth it to me, i'd miss it too much

thats what I am all about. Sure I would like to take the money and walk away 17.5 K richer, but if you add up all my mods, in the end I lose. Right now, I have a car that a) no one else at my school has, b) a freshly painted CL 3.0 and c) a car that I love to drive. I know that this car is a glorified accord, but it is my glorified accord. I have put a lot of TLC and $$ into this car, and I can't see selling it. I mean, I miss it enough when it is in the shop having the tranny replaced. That in iteself is sick becasue normally when the CL is in the shop I drive mom's M3 or the GX470. I guess it is all a matter of prefrence.Also, I agree. I would never take a 17.5k check, working at a back I see way too many people get screwed that way. If it were a bank check, maybe.WTF?!?!
