OBX underdrive pulleys

I'm having my mechanic changing my pulley to the OBX underdrive pulley tomorrow... I know I have to change the belt too, but then.. the OBX pulley is smaller in diameter than the OEM one... so how do I determine the size of the belt that I need??

I have a 2.2CL... Anyone installed one of these and knows? Thanx for help!

oh...you might need to be careful with obx, i have seen their headers welding come off and have gaps but they are nothing compared to unorthodox racing or aem. how much are you paying for them?

i have the UR crank pulley and on their site they have belt part #s for the gates belts that they recommend as a good fit. If the OBX's are the UR knock offs and are the dame size than thosebelts would probably work for the OBX pulley.

Use string.

Wrap the string along the path of the belt and then lay it out and measure it.

Take the old belt to your nearest auto store and tell them you need this type of belt with the length that you found with the string.

If youre ANAL, you could adjust the PS and ALT all the way in (to find the smallest) and all the way out (to find the largest that would fit).

guys.. i went to the mechanic and guess wut... THE FAHKING pulley DOESN"T FIT!!! On the box it saids 94-97 accord 4cyl... and at the side it saids<BR>
<U>P2004</U><UL>
<LI>Accord 98- 2.3L SOHC 16V
<LI>Accord 94-97 2.2/2.3L DOHC 16V
<LI>Accord 91-93 2.2L SOHC
<LI>Prelude 92-96 2.2/2.3 16V DOHC VTEC
<LI>Predlue 92-96 2.2L 16V SOHC<BR>

SO i was just wondering.. WUT DE HELL is a 2.2/2.3L DOHC anyway? do they even have that for accords??

if it fits on a 98 2.3 then it should fit a 2.2cl. how doest it fit? does it hit the bolt? cuz aem provides new bolt and nut becuase of that prob

Well... the hole on the pulley is simly too small and looks completely different from the OEM one... so i'm guessing they might have either given me the wrong part or they labeled the darn thing 94-97 accord by mistake...
