OBX Helical Limited Slip Differential

Searched but couldn't find any info, so here is the question:

Has anyone (or know of anyone) who has or used the OBX Helical Limited Slip Differential for Accords 90-97?

Here is a quick description:

"The OBX Helical Limited Slip Differential powers both drive wheels under nearly all conditions, instead of just one. With an ordinary open differential, standard on most cars, a lot of precious power is wasted during wheelspin under acceleration. This happens because the open differential shifts power to the wheel with less grip (along the path of least resistance). The OBX Helical Limited Slip Differential, however, does just the opposite. It senses which wheel has the better grip, and biases the power to that wheel. It does this smoothly and constantly, and without ever completely removing power from the other wheel. Power to the ground!"

I am very interested, however I hear so not so good feedback on OBX itself, which makes me worried....

Any insight is always appreciated!

I beleive the obx has springs inside that make it all work I may be wrong but i've heard from two accounts that they have to be rebuilt more often. Qualife makes one that is solid gear driven kinda like a mini spool for rear wheel drive cars.. I am currently in the process of building a 2000 accord f23turbo and that is what we are using for the tranny.

Your car is one hell of a build!

I guess the consensus is that Qualife if the best, just quick question though...do you really notice that improvement with LSD over non-LSD?

Just getting into more mild performance enhancing tweaks, and since someone was selling the OBX for just $250 --- I hummed and hawwed over it a bit

But I've decided I'll hold off and if anything will look into the Quaife later on if I do go towards more performance
