OBX on!

got my OBX header and downpipe put on saturday morning at the ghetto midas. pretty nice guys, even though it took him 4 hours to do it. I must have had the most fucked up OBX header in history b/c it needed to be bent, then when installed, had clearance issues, and after that, wasn't long enough to bolt right up to the cat!

so the guy put the downpipe in this machine that squeezes two blocks together to bend the pipe and was pretty simple and eveything, didnt even need to heat anything up.

the power gain feels good! i get up to 80 in a breeze. I have a HKS universal exhaust and it made that bitch loud, which i wasn't going for the loud thing, but it's a good loud!

i still need to see if i can get any power gain by resetting the ECU today.

thanks to all you guys for your input and help!

wow, very nice. now that you have all that stuff installed. you should do us all a service and test out the intake manifold for the 3.0. I know I would personally donate $10-$20 for you to try that out, adn if you got at least 10 people to donate that much for you do test it out, you could get $100 -$200 of it payed for. someone needs to check it out and see if there are any power gains.

check it out here: http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=21031

i looked into getting a new car but....

after seeing what i would pay for a car with the same goddies i got now in the 3.0 P any car would be close to 30 G's and 600 a month! NO!

i've never seen this intake manifold! where has it been hiding?

i'll be getting some loot the second week of january so i can do some testing, this looks like i wanna buy it!
