Question OBD drive cycle 3.0 CL?

I finally got the check engine bulb replaced, reset the OBD by disconnecting the battery to clear the codes. When I took it the emissions to have it tested, it comes back as rejected. The technician says that the drive cycle has not been obtained. I called Acura and they stated that there really isn't a drive cycle. He said that it must be started from a cold start, letting it sit over a 24hr period. Can anyone confirm this or tell me what I need to do so I can get this whole emissions thing over with?!! Thanks.

im pretty sure its 2 drive cycles

one cycle= cold start drive to over 55 for longer than 5 min back to zero shut off.

if these arent obtained then there isnt a drive cycle.

in my service manual it says something about operation checking your sensors to determine if it is a intermittant fault code, and then it tells you to go 2 drive cycles at these specs. just drive around for a week and youll be aiit.

also if you would have had the codes erased thru obd2 computer it would have kept your drive cycles. when you disconnect the battery it erases all gained data from the computer. but theres no way for you to have known that, and other wise it wouldnt have affected you.
