It now officially breathes fire

I know most of you probably dont care but I finally ahd the supercharger installed on the s2k. Unfortunately it is still in Ohio waiting for me.

I had my dad go pick it up for me as it ahs been in the shop for about 2 weeks.

My brother told me that when my dad revved it up, he saw a flame inside the tail pipe. It did not come outside the tip, but stayed inside.

Now I am thinking that I need to put a flame kit on it, just for intimidation.

I cant wait to get to the track and try it out, any ideas on how fast I might run?

w/ the comptech blower hopefully you'll hit flat 13's or very high 12's. My buddy has the vortech w/ puts out more power and I think he's around 12.7. But it's nice to drive the car when it's FINALLY got some torque

enjoy it, be safe

the comptech techs say that it is around 90-100 hp, but I think that is off.

If it was putting out that much more power then I would be running mid twelves.

I have been told that the reason people arent running as fast as they should is because there is a real traction issue.

But I just got home and this car is fast. Might be one of the fastest cars I ahve evre driven.

awesome

get a video!

I've heard that s2k's w/ the comptech SC are laying high 200's very low 300's.

There is a guy on the 2nd gen forum that just bought a sc'd s2k and the guys that tuned it were able to get extra power out of it and he lays down 325 to the wheels

I read an article on this - damn gotta find it for you - but I remeber it was doing mid-13's. I also read that the weak link in the S2000 is the rear end - it doesn't hold up to much more torque than what's thrown at it stock.

Enjoy! That car is going to be a kick to drive!!!

LOL, I am in Ohio right now, and damn does this car fucking move.

I rolled up on a supra last night down near OSU and I felt the urge. But then I saw the cop sitting right across the street.

I would not be surprised if I could get into the 12's easily with this car.

I am going to ahve it dynoed tommarrow at Passen Motorsports, so I will let you know how it goes.

One thing that I ahve found is that I am going to need to modify the tachometer a little bit. It doesnt seem to have a very high refreshing rate. I can hear the car hit the rev limiter before it even shows that the car is at redline. I might do a AEM EMS setup and modify my laptop to show the tachometer too.

I will try and get pics of it ASAP, I just unpacked my digi cam so it will only be a few days.

I was running mid 13's in close to stock form. Remer, I said CLOSE to stock. Just and intake, and some drag slicks.

I hope to get mid 12's but I think that is just a wet dream.

ill say low 13' s just cuz how are hard it will be to launch it. cant drop from 7k or youll just spin and launch it too low you bog even with the charger. with just the basic comptech kit you should get around 290 whp, tuned and an upgraded pulley mid 300 at the wheels. from a roll that thing will be a beast though.

I am hoping for much better than low 13's juust on thew basis that I ran such a low time before.

I have learned how to launch pretty well and am hoping that I will elarn more with the supercharger.

I just got back from the t4rack, but it started raining as soon as I got it down there, so I had to put it back on the trailer.
