I've heard the Wet kits are safer than the Dry kits. I'm seconds from buying the dry kit, but not sure if I should.

How much safer is the Wet kit? Please keep in mind I have a HEAVY FOOT, if you know what I mean?

Go for the Dry kit right now, or save up for that Wet kit?

Save for the wet kit. The dry kit could cause you to run lean and blow your motor. The wet kit is the safest way. It's worth the extra $$$.

With the wet kit, your are spraying N2O, fuel and O2 into your intake manifold, therefore atomizing the fuel prior to entry into the cylinders (theoretically creating a more even distribution to all cylinders). With the dry kit, you only spray N2O and O2 into the intake manifold, then it's mixed with fuel in the cylinder (via the fuel injectors) and is atomized.

The wet kit relies on your nitrous management system to control the atomization process. The dry kit relies on your fuel injectors to control the atomization process.

Therefore, the wet kit is safer.

I have the 3.0
I'm pretty sure most of you already knew that, but maybe not.

Mods:
AEM CAI
Apexi N1 exhaust
UR Pullies (Crank, PS, and Alt)
Bosch Platnium 4 Spark Plugs (gonna switch to the Zex now)
Transcooler
Stripped the back (explained why before...)
Neuspeed drop
Clear corners

Sitting in my room:
Wings West Rear Lip kit
Apexi VAFC2
OBX Headers

Mods to come:
Zex nos
Comptech Fuel pump
Comptech Transcooler
Ground Control wires
Spark Plug wires (any suggestions which ones?...I've been hearing Magnacore)

Hopefully to get:
Shift kit, and the Fluidyne Radiator

I wanna squeeze 100-150 shot.....but i'm gonna make sure I do everything right....looking to have the fastest 3.0....

watch out now....

I would say your gonna have to do some building on that engine if you want a 150 shot. That would blow the engine to bits i would think.

Keith's basically done all that. He's on his 6th tranny. And he is the fastest 3.0. (13.6 in the 1/4)

He ran a 13.4 with the new 125 shot with fuel problems. He got a new fuel pump so it should put him in the 12's or close to it.

WTF? new trannies under warrantee?? My dealership wouldn't even fix/replace my tranny when the differential went out at 67K. And I have a full 100K bumper to bumper warrantee.

whats up guys

yes i did run a 13.4@105 with fuel problems (from 4000 rpms to 5,200 rpms my a/f ratio was off the chart LEAN ) i'm hoping once i get bigger injectors to maybe hit a high 12...

about the trannies, i'm on my 7th one right now.. somedays it acts funny and other days it's ok (i think i'll be on my 8th one soon) i use to work at the local acura dealer plus all remanufactored acura trans have a 3year or 30,000 mile warrenty. thats how i get them replaced for free everytime:P
