Noob..needs help with exhaust
hey, I'm pretty new here and what not, and would just like to know what exhaust fits right with the 3.0? I looked at the FAQ and it says a 94-97 accord 2 door. Does that go with the 3.0? also, if someone can help which exhaust tied in with the CAI sounds best without that "Ricey" tone w/o the resonator? Thanks for the help in advance = ]

Cat Back exhaust systems are from a 94-97 Accord 2 Door.
Axel backs are also an option, 94-97 Accord.
Another option is to buy a separate muffler and have a shop do all new piping for you. Id reccomend a resonator (18" or 22") to help cut back on that "ricey" tone"

here's the deal bro, a 3.0cl is pretty much a 94-97 accord with a different skin to put it very simply...im sure if you read some kind of elementary introductory thread this would be in there(in the noob guide?)
it uses the chassis of the 94-97 accord v6, so everything cat back is pretty much exactly the same(cat back because it uses the J30 v6 out of the 98-up accords/acura legend instead of the 2.7 v6 that was in the 94-97 accords)
so, basically, your '98 acura 3.0cl is a previous generation of the 98 accord that was released the same year, but with an upgraded engine, brakes, suspension, etc.(the fact thats is 4-lug while the 98 accord v6's were 5-lug is a dead give-away)...but either way the exhaust components from headers or cat back are nearly identical, i believe
then again i also believe in the holocaust, so maybe i'm wrong...
