noob guide feedback- SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
Well thanks to Alex (Ayougo), Chris (97BlackAckCL), and Mitch (SwervinCL) the noob guide has been redone, hopefully we wont get as many reposts from now on, or at least we can shut up the noobs by just posting the link
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=179727
I want some feedback. Ive been really busy lately so I've only had the time to quickly edit and add some things. Please let me know people if theres any misinformation.
ALSO, if you think you have something helpful to add, either PM me with the info or post it here and then I can make the needed changes in the guide. Thanks

I just wanted to add that the dome light (at least in my 99) is not 3022, but is actually 3910. The first 2 numbers in a festoon bulb's code is the length in mm.
The correct bulb length is 39mm, not 32mm. You can easily check this by noticing that the door bulb, trunk bulb, and glove box bulbs are the same length, but the dome bulb holder is longer.
3022 can be used however if you can't get a 3910. The length of the bulb isnt really important for incandescent users, but for the many people looking to replace their dome bulb with an led-type bulb, those 9mm can make a HUGE difference (9leds instead of just 4).

11) What do I need to know about Koni Yellows?
Two types. Standard and Nuespeed Sport Editions.
Standard has 3 perch settings.
The fronts are adjustable with the knob.
both front and rear damper adj
The rears you have to take the strut off the car to adjust.
only need to take shocks off to adj perch not damper
Sports have 5 perch settings along w/ shorter shafts.
The shafts mean that the spring will not come out of the seat when the car is jacked up.
never ever had this happen with standard koni yellows with prokits however may happen with sportlines or more agressive drop springs
The rear struts are adjustable with the knob, and the strut on the car.
again this is true for both standard and neuspeed versions
PROS
- Koni = quality
- adjustable w/ a knob
- can be revalved and made to custom stiffness by Koni
- adjustable spring perch settings
- lifetime warrenty (and they do honor it!)
CONS
- rear bracket needs to be taken off to adjust rear struts, unless you do something custom
again never had a prob adj the rear dampers, just put the knob on and spin
- on the expensive side

Very nice You might mention on the transmission section about the pros and cons of flushing vs. drain and fill. And you might also mention intervals for fluid change and the fact that Honda ATF should be used rather than other brands.
Drain and fill for damaged transmissions, a flush will kill it.
Flush for well-maintaned transmissions does not hurt and is effective at removing 99% of old fluid.
Thanks guys. Very useful quick reference for our cars.

hey Klepto, sent you a pm, maybe you didnt get it
Maybe something in the NOOB guide about the window regulators
-94-97 accord window regulators work.
-They're one piece, not two seperate items.
-if it's slow, lube it with silicone spray.
-if it's still slow, look to replace it.
-if the window falls down and you hear grinding, the regulator is toast, take off the door panel and prop it up with a bar or rubber wedge.
And maybe link the DIY for it, that way the question of "how do i take my panel off" is directly answered.
I know they can search, but we get a lot of posts about it, and even after a search, they still post. Maybe this will be a little more helpful info.
