Hey guys and girls.... I'm new here. I got my new (well used) CL 2.3 standard on 10/12/04 and its in ok condition. The body really needs repairs from dents and dings to a new paint job. The interior leather needs some work on but other then that its ok... I dont really know much on how to maintain this cl so please some help would be good. The car is all stock for now until i start working at my new job, soon i hope cuz im too young to work at a restaurants. Such a pain-in-the-ass just to wait for the liquor commission to approve of my letters. But anyways... this is just one photo of my car till i can get more... dont have a digital camera so yea... soon ill get more. hope this works.

Thanks for the welcomes i'v been reading around here for awhile when i found out that i was getting this CL from my brother's G/F. Yea it was originally her car, so i dont have to worry about any hidden damages or worst.... the engine really needs fixing. Well the car is 5 speed manual, i dont know what kinda of paint is on it but it says titanium metallic on the touch up paint. Hope that gives an idea. I'm still getting used to standard... i wonder if poping the clutch is bad and also riding the clutch in reverse up a slight slop just to park in the garage is harsh on the trans???

I was trying to get intouch with Baka_t but he didnt answer to my private e-mail and also i found his myspace site too. lol i tried to get access to him from there but i cant. :'( i really want to talk to them about this car and many other questions.... just making a full on of myself. I just look at it as, everyone has to start somewhere. Just to say... im not the irritating type, hoping that i dont scare you peoplez away. eh...

specter: yeah man, we're all cool peeps. so far there are 6 regular cl's that cruise all the time (Dan"baka-t", Trav"III", Mike"acurality", Tommy, Larry, and I) and 5 other cl owners that come out to meets every once in a while.

my turbo project is almost finished. im having a downpipe made (finally) on saturday, and i also have to hook up my ignition, e-manage (fuel/engine management), intake manifold, and a few omori guages. my friends friend has a direct port nitrous kit with dual 10lb bottles and i am going to buy it from him very soon. so in the end, it is going to be pretty bad ass. my car may be ready within 2 weeks or so and i am pretty excited (and so is the rest of the crew).

 

dont worry about it, man. youre right. everyone has to start from somewhere. you are in good hands. we can help you with advice, bolt-on installations, etc.

ill save you as a friend once myspace decides to hurry and finish with its maintenance.

About that White CL. I remember seeing that car awhile ago driving by kapiolani offramp. That is a nice car. Also i live in hawaii kai if any of you live there.
