! Noise !

Ever sense I got my header on I have been hearing this noise. Its like peace of metal vibrating. Anyone else with a header have this problem?

You have a lift or access to one? It might actually be a pieve of metal touching the exhaust pipe or one of the brackets holding the pipe is not tight enough.

specially on low rpm right? i had the same problem when i got my resonator installed. i took it back to the shop that installed it. he foudn out where the pipe was touching, hammer the thing that holds the resonator (some 2 rubber thing) and *BAM* it wuz fixed.

are you sure all your bolts for the headers are on all the way, it can be loose but you would hear air and it would be a little whistling and louder a bit

check for cracks.. i had a crack on my obx's so i gotta wait til friday to get it fixed. check it out asap because taht crack can get real big quick

How do I fix it

I thought about getting a custom cat back with no reso and no catjust straight pipe

to fix it, put the car on a lift, move the pipe around, and check to see what part of the heat shield is hitting the pipe. You can't miss the heat shield: it's the only shiny metal underneath your car. After that, then take a hammer to the shield and bend it away until it doesn't hit the pipe anymore.
