Guys, i have this awful noise coming from my right side vent....
Here's the thing though, it does not always make the noise, it seems to start up and then sometimes stop or not stop untill i turn off the heat.

It is like a lound whistle, or screcching sort of sound.
Anyways, it is annoying the fuck out of me, how can I stop it, and what could it be??

sounds like a belt going out or it coming loose

 

bearings on the blower fan is my guess.

 

Are the air intakes clear? Sometimes my Maxima used to whistle from the vents and it was always a obstructed intake (leaves, snow etc).

may be a leaf or something in your blower fan

 

Mine does it to from time to time. Its something with the fan cause it only happend when the fan is on.
