I have a 97 cl with a 2.2 manual and i want to make more power
1) i was wondering if the 2.2 can handle nitrous
2) if it can handle it then what kit should i get (wet, dry, and the size of shot)

We have several threads on this, but you probably won't find them right now due to the search function not working right. I've heard (not sure) up to 100hp shots are safe due to the SOHCs' iron sleeves.
