Nitrous For A 3.0

What setup would be best for the 3.0? I want like a 75 shot wet, is this the best and still safe for my car? Like NX has 6 different types to get. What should I get? Is ZEX better? I am a dumbass on this shit!

I couldn't tell you which is better, but Zex is easy as hell to install. It's definitely safe, as the nitrous will only spray when you are at wide open throttle, therefore making sure that the engine is getting plenty of gas so you don't detonate a cylinder. Just make sure that you use their spark plugs, and you'll have a blast!

What he said, I am getting my Zex kit too, a 75 shot dry system, it is the safest and most reliable kit out there, just ask anybody. I would also look into purchasing a tranny cooler which I am looking into searching ebay for the right one. But if you get Nitrous i would get a tranny cooler as well as a A/F guage, I am also looking into a Trans guage to monitor my heat in the tranny, cause I have been feeling slipping lately but cross your fingers and knock on wood I wont have to replace it. Note what also Dustbuster said buy the colder spark plugs from zex, they arent that expensive and will increase the performance of the zex.

Hey dust do you always run your zex plugs or do you swap out when not using them?

I keep the Zex plugs in at all times. I really get shitty gas mileage!

However, since I spray at any given time, I always need the Zex plugs in.

Tranny cooler: I got my tranny cooler from www.bulkparts.com for $37.22 plus shipping. [Click on "Transmission cooler index", then click on "HAYDEN Transaver Plus coolers
stacked plate ".]

Not sure about the gauge.

1.) whats the advantage of a dry shot over the wet?
2.) where is the best place to get these at? I know the NX kit only works at full throttle as well.
3.) As for as direct port, is that the best too?

I just see that like NX has 10 different kits, Venom and Zex have a few too! Just want to get the right one. I have a tranny cooler already too. And I know to get the plugs.

If you want gauges check out egauges.com, they have awesome prices!

1). With a wet shot, you are mixing N2O and gas before they enter the cylinder (both are sprayed from the same nozzle into your intake), therefore ensuring that you won't burn a piston by a "rich" nitrous spray into the cylinder. A high ratio of N2O (or a pure N2O) shot into the cylinder will destry your engine! The dry shot just sprays N2O into the cylinder and then is mixed with gas from your fuel injectors.

2.) I did some "research" on eBay, looking for good prices on a Zex wet kit. When I found the best price, I e-mailed the guy and said "what kind of a deal can you give me on a whole package: Zex wet kit, purge kit, bottle warmer, plugs, pressure gauge, and bottle opener." He quote me just under $1000, shipped.

3). Direct-port is best!!!! I was going this route, until I saw that it was going to cost several GRAND$$$ to do it right. I'm still considering it, but probably won't go that direction (thinking turbo)!
