But what i am most interested in is on some rim suggestions that would look great on my cl and other exterior mods? Thanks...

 

Been here only a bit but there are lots of good people and a ton of info on this site. I'd start with a little use of the "search" bar up top.

Rims: RonJon has 1 Gen sets now and Racing Harts are nice. But try discounttires.com, wheelmax.com, and the other 1000 wheel sites to see what you like. Also look throught the photo gallery for ideas. You'll also see some other good exterior mods as well. West Wing front lips, Accord M3 side skirts, OEM style spoiler, tint, lighting, HID's. There is a ton of stuff man, look around and see what ya like then ask some specifics. You'll get farther quicker with a little direction.

Get a set of black wheels and it will definately set your whip off. I'm gonna cop 18" Gross Black Axis Mod. Check the wheelsnext website.

like i said get teh OBX headers and the v2 intake.

if you get rims ur going to have to drop it like its hot as well... since you dont want to have to drive slow over shit like i do might as well get some eibach prokits to drop you almost 2 inches. get some black rims on ur car see if you can find some Racing Hart C5's which are discontinued but you can probably find some... and get them in black.

 

i told him this shit in person... when he first got the car in august. he's my fraternity bro and yeah lives in the same place i do.

i say.. lower your car get some 19" with fat tires and custom bodykit with fast and the furious splashes all over the car w/stickers galore!!

dont forget the bleacher seat spoiler with pulsating streetglow and the colored purge coming from all holes in the car.. lol..

 

the only gripe i have against the c5's in black is that the center cap is huge and still in silver

if you really want to set it off, do a 5-lug conversion and your rim selection will dramatically increase! thats the best thing IMO, 4-lug is ok, but 5-lug kills em no doubt about it!! check out some lowenharts!

 

If you can't find something you like in 4-lug, you clearly arn't looking hard enough. There are so damn many rims for every lug pattern ever concieved by man that conversions seem pointless.

Yeah, I know... Im gonna be commuting a lot in the next months and Ive decided I want a new car. As much as I love the CL, it is just time for a change... ya know? Now I just need to find someone who wants to ride LOW...

Heh I almost drug myself into this situation. Bought a $2k kit and just about decided to sell the car. Then I had a buddy of mine slap me and remind me I just bought a $2k kit for it! After I drove a new GTO he had to beat me until I looked like a scared puppy to convince me to keep the CL.

 

someone would have a dope cl if they bought the veilside kit and the air ride.

 

my roomate comes into my room and tells me that he saw me post on his thread and was suprised at the number of replies in one day. Then i proceed to tell him that this is not a lot and then he proceeds to tell me that it got a lot of views... i replied yeah.

Then he tells me that i had already told him that stuff in person. Then i proceeded to tell him that i had already told him that im not an idiot when it comes to the CL.

Also, they are played out. I don't even like them anymore. C2's in my opinion will always look good. I like the mesh with fat lip look.

I agree with the five lug conversion only because I'm a fan of stock wheels and all Acuras now come with five lugs. If I could, I'd get some Second Gen TypeS wheels. Yeah, they're kinda plain, but I still like 'em.
