I Just Picked Up A 98 Cl 2.3 Prem Last Weekend. Its In Pretty Good Shape@146k Miles. I'd Like To Tune It Up This Weekend And Would Like Some Suggestions On Brands, Etc.. For Bolt On Performance And Basic Stuff. Like I Said, Im New To The Scene And What Appreciate Any Info, Things To Look For, Ideas, Whatever.................thanks

 

oil change - spark plugs (NGK) - Plug wires (NGK) - Distributor cap + rotor - coolant flush - Sea Foam the bitch (before oil change) - Air filter - Fuel Filter - PVC Valve.

I'm sure someone will think of other things you can do in a weekend.

 

Should I Stick With Oem Tune Up Parts Or Try E3, Accel Etc?

Add transmission drain and fill with only acura tranny fluid.

As far as parts, i stick with OEM - NGK is oem for wires and plugs - You cant go wrong with geniune honda/acura parts from the dealer. it will charge you an arm and a leg, so do a quick google search for acura oem parts -- should be the first one taht comes up.
