newbie in need of help!

hi i just got a 97 cl, and my friend is gonna give me a real good deal on a pair of rims but im afraid their not gonna fit . i already read the post for newbs at top of page but it didnt answer my ?.
they are 18 by 8. Is that to wide? all i keep seeing is 7.5 for width someone please help. thanks

put one on and see wadup. i think the rear would be the problem spot if any.

i ahve 19x8 but i dont have a drop...they should be ok if you get the right offset and dont plan on slamming it real low unless u get air ride

thanks alot for the help guys. im gonna try to put one on and make sure it will fit but i dont plan on lowering it so now im thinkin ill be ok. thanks
