Newbie Comments

We just got our CL yesterday and I have been reading up on these things for awhile. It is actually my wife's car and she did most of the picking of the car. Anyway we ended up with the 2.3 Auto 1998. Everything is going great so far the car has 118K miles but looks and drives like new! We looked at some others and really did not look/drive quite right so at least that feels good!

My question to all would be:
Is there anything as far as regular maintaince goes that I need to know about?
Any other comments (I have been searching ALOT on this site so please don't burn me) just thought I would ask. THANKS IN ADVANCE

The only thing that we need for the car is the keyless entry fob and am reading that is not to big of a deal. Just ebay those and use some of the codes that are posted here, huh? Do I need '98 ones or will any work is my only question there? Does anyone have any to sell????

Glad to be part of the Acura CL "family"!

THANKS AGAIN

Spencer

I can tell you've been searching alot,,,you know the newbs get burnt here. the only other thing I can think of would be the recall, and I think that just might be the3.0, plus your way past the mileage. anyway, enjoy and welcome.

Thanks alot to everyone as always any help/info is great. I was going to replace the tranny fluid on Sat. anyway! The previos owner had the timing belt changed and I got all the paper for everything they ever did to the car. Timing belt was done at 95K other than that just normal stuff, supposedly no tranny problems, lets hope that continues!

THANKS SO MUCH

Good place to start. Then if it hasn't been done, the usual, plugs, wires, ect.
