new wheels, which tires? 55 or 60

I just got my new wheels. Black 16" rota circuit 8's. I'm getting tires put on tomorrow and then i'll post some pics once they're on. I am leaning towards the Yok's, but should I get 205/55/16 or 205/60/16? My main concern is having NO FENDER GAP. I think it looks terrible. I'm on coilovers so there will be no gaps either way, but I'm considering the 60's just to keep my car a little farther off the ground. Just tell me what you guys think, and for those of you on stock 16" wheels, what size are your tires. thanks

205/60/16 will not work. The diameter is for the CL is like 24.9

You must get tires that is close to this. I think the tire for 205/60/16 is 25.7

anything more than a 55 on a 205 width is going to look bad. too much rubber around the rim. ull have a smoother ride though. even 55 looks a little wierd w/ a 2" drop

Whoa, slow down turbo- he was just trying to answer your question. He just didnt do it very well . The 60 profile tire will fit, you will just look like youre ready to take it off-road. Go with the 55 or 50 profile. 50 would look better in my opinion.

the 24.7 and the 25.9 he's talking baout tis the over all diameter of the wheel and tire 24.7 stock and 25.9 with 60 series tires. im not sure if thats the correct numbers but thats what they were for. you will also lose some acceleration with 60

You are right. I didnt explain your question correctly. But I think you should give someone a little respect if they are only trying to help you. If you didnt understand me, all you had to do is ask me.
You didnt have to insult me. Grow up a little.
