Hey everyone just want to let u know that I'm new to the site. Im 15 and live about 45 mins. from Philly. There is actually a unique story of how I've acquired such a wonderful. Well it all started last summer when my dad got a new job and gave me his old car a 96 mitsu. galant and he bought a 2000 lexus ls400. Well i started to work on my project leather seats, body kit, custom hood, tint, system, spoiler, lowered, by the end of the summer i had my dream car. Everyone loved the car and everyone was sooo surprised a 14 year old owned it. I didnt want all my hard work go to waste soooo i let my sister take my baby to school the rest of the year......bad mistake.......2 weeks gone totaled by a cadillac (tboned on the right side).....total cost of damage $9K including custom parts.....i parted it out and sold it to the insurance comp. bone stock..i ended up selling all my parents to a local nieghbors friend for about $4k for the whole lot. By now u may be asking yourself what does this have to do with a Cl well one day my mom and dad were up in boston on work and visiting family where they saw a 99 acura 3.0 Cl with 25,xxx miles on it $17,000 later they had it they drove it all the back down here and the next morning they told me they had a surprise to do with cars.... i go out and all i can say is SHIT....there it was (it even had one of them big bows on it) well thats how i became an owner of the best car ever 99 acura CL

(I love the ASS, thats one of the main reasons they bought me the car)

 

cool story, i had that same story with my car were i came home from a hokcey game and they had sitting in my driveway a 1967 ford mustang, that made my day, welcome to the CL forum. if you ned to know anything, just ask. mods are pretty cheap for the cl until you get into the cams and custom shit.

Wait a second, your parents GAVE you your first car. It got totalled. Then they GAVE you a more expensive car? I know that you werent driving the car when it was totalled, but your parents GAVE you 2 cars?!?!?! The second one being 17,000 doillars? Do they want to adopt. Are you a genius or something? do you do really well at school??

I know this sounds bad coming from someone who got an s2k as a graduation present, but I worked my ass off for it. If you are a good student and all around a good child, then obviously you deserve it. I just wish my parents had GIVEN me my CL.

I'm not trying to be a dick but who cares of you're 15. I mean so what. You have a CL you have a CL. And...? It's good that you have a nice car being so young but I don't think anyone cares if you're 15. First mod your car then start bragging about the mods you have, don't brag about your age. first off i got them b/c 1 i actully do do pretty good in school and second my parents dont want me having the life they had ( 9 people in a 2 bedroom house)

2nd i didnt brag about my age i just wanted to tell u guys first off so u guys dont ask me how the car drives and what my 1/4 mile time is because i cant drive yet

3rd thank u for all the good support i hope there will be more of rather then people that just want to bust on anyone

4th im just starting with mods b/c right now im between work and school and yes i do work b/c i have to pay for all my mods myself ( i said the bought me the car, not the mods)

 

Like I said if you deserve it cool, that is awesome. And your parents wanting to give you a good life, thats cool too. Just saying, I wish my parents gave me my CL.

I bought every car ive ever owned all 4 of them my folks helped me maintain what i drove while i was in school.

But its cool I have a friend who folks leased him new I35s in college and now are leasing him a new 540i 6spd and hes been out of college for 4 years!!!

oh well, if i have the money whenever I have kids Id probably buy or help them buy a car. A ncie safe honda that they arent allowed to mod
