new tire?
hey do you guys think i can just throw a new tire on this rim it has a cracked lip but the rest of the rim seems fine and the tire that it has now still holds air

I hope your being sarcastic... That rim is F****ed and needs to be repaired ASAP! It has lost it structural rigidity with that crack/chip... I can become much worse if its not taken care of soon!

Tire looks warped in that picture already, go pickup a cheapo rim or have that one repaired.

Definitely do NOT put a tire on that. I wouldn't do it at my shop, i'd make u repair it.
