I forgot what they are called, but my buddy just got some new BFG tires on his spec-V and they are awesome. I'll find out and let you know. He used to launch @ 2k and spin till the middle of second gear, now he launches @ like 4K and catches real quick

they aren't too expensive either

I have Yokohama AVS ES100's and I love em. Good wet and they hold really well when dry. They don't cost that much either. I paid about $650 for four 225/40 18's out the door balanced, mounted, etc. Tire Rack has the Yokohama AVS Sports really cheap but since I have a Discount Tire card I just did the AVS ES 100's cuz I'm broke. Good luck.

I've got YOKO PRADA's SPEC 2 they stick like glue. When i'm cornering hard they dont make noise. Very happy with performance.

I've always had the Nitto NT 555's, and they're ok, they're pretty sticky and good when cornering, although not fantastic when wet out.

I just got some Toyo Proxes 4s. Good tires - way better than the Michelins that came with it.

I've had 2 sets of paradas and loved them they are very sticky tires. They have some downside though. They wear fast, they suck in the rain, and they give you no warning of loseing grip, they just lose it. It's very scary.
