i have em in black, and i thought they were too plain in 1 color n painted the lips gold. i do like the design though, and the 16in ones i have are only 11.7lbs per rim which is awesome

Slipstreams are sick as fuck. I wanted to get some for my daily driver set. Knock off's of the Spoon's, but who cares!?

Btw, fuck what others think and agree on. It's your car, either you make it unique to YOUR tasting, or you end up looking like everybody else...

u shuold only get those in black i think.. but if u want something to keep for a while.... black rims will get old... and silver will always stay classy. Go with something silver... but just not those in silver. There were meant to be black.

not sure how slips would look on our cl's....might be interesting though...should look fairly decent, although the fat spoke design isn't too much of a departure from the stock rims.

however, if I did it, I'd do the machined face....too bad they don't do full polish like the Desmond Brites...that would be pretty hot (just not sure if it would be hot on a CL lol)

Oh, Ayougo was the first person to bring em up. He had photoshopped a pic of them on his car. Looked pretty good. Might want to try and search for that thread.

LOL, I know the shop in Chinatown you guys are talking about, lol. It's true, some wheels you just have to see in person, but even then it's hard to decide unless you see them on the car too, that's why I like some used places, you can do test fits.

I like the slips as well, and actually I think you could pull off the steel grey or even white, but it would def be more of a racer look as opposed to sport luxury.

Have you checked all the used sites so far?

www.cackywheels.com
www.pandagarage.com
www.takumiproject.com
www.wheelchoice.com
www.memoryfab.com
www.jspec.com
www.hondatechmarketplace.com
and last but not least and may suprise you
www.vw-vortex.com (used wheel section)

I look at most of these almost daily, yeah i'm sick like that.

yeah, rpf's in all-polish would look pretty sick on a dark colored cl

hmmm, you sure they don't have wider than 7 for 4 luggers? I've seen some s13's (same bolt pattern as us) with some wide ass rpf's before...might want to re-check on that

I'm sure it's because you got tired of the mesh stile, but I could never go from volk's to knock offs...at least get enkei or a decently reputable brand, one's that'll last and be light BTW, rpf1's are super hot.
